4. Create your January page

The first thing we're going to do is design a page for January in our calendar. Make a backdrop in Scratch based on the idea you came up with in the last challenge.

Steps

1. Rename the first backdrop to "january"

Click on the Backdrops tab at the top left of Scratch to get to all the backdrops. Click on the first backdrop and rename it to "january". You can keep all the letters lowercase if you'd like, to make things easier. You can also name the month "jan" for short. You might need to get help from your parent or a teacher for this step. 

2. Draw a picture for January

You can make your picture as complicated or as simple as you'd like. Try to draw something that means a lot to you. It doesn't have to be an event that everyone else knows about.
