Create a new frame with your character in the next pose, passing pose 1.

1. Duplicate the first frame

Mouse over the first frame, and click on the duplicate button that pops up.

2. Turn onion skinning on

Find the little onion on the right side of the screen and click on it to make sure it's yellow.

3. Erase the old legs to draw your new frame

Using your last frame as a guide, draw the next pose.

4. (Optional) Lift the character for up and down movement
Hint: show details
When characters walk, they tend to bob up and down a little bit. More specifically, they lift up slightly in the passing pose.
You can get that effect by using the move tool to raise your character up in this frame.
